Why the rule works this way
Cut-offs exist because staffing and biometric capacity are planned a day or two ahead. Once the roster is fixed, a released slot cannot be resold in time, so the system stops accepting changes.
For Taiwan, appointments in India run through Taipei Economic and Cultural Center (TECC) under Bureau of Consular Affairs, Taiwan, with indicative processing of 5–10 working days. The rule above applies at every Indian centre serving this mission.
